Hi, I'm Spoorthi! I’m interested in integrating human-centered
design and technology into social-good projects. My passion for math and problem-solving founded my interest to pursue computer science and front-end programming to complement design in my degree. Last summer, I worked on creating seller-facing interfaces as a UX Designer at Amazon.

Creating a capacitive touch sensor with RGB LEDs integrated with a laser-cut wooden board and 3D-printed game pieces, transmitting messages using 2 Arduino Megas, to a Python Application for gameplay and UI, our game both digitally and physically reflects aspects of Monopoly including player money, rolling dice, purchasing property, paying rent, jail, and more.
PROGRAMMING, MACHINE LEARNING, FRONT-END
Developed a web app where a user can train a pasta identification model using hand-drawn pictures and test the model on new drawings. Used a convolutional neural network and created our project using Python, Keras (an API from Tensorflow) and Flask with front-end Javascript, HTML, CSS.

Developing my portfolio website with HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
UX DESIGN, DATA VISUALIZATION, FRONT-END PROGRAMMING
Designed staff dashboards and user interfaces and programmed data visualizations for staff at Opioid addiction treatment centers using patient biometric data.
Researched S.U.D to develop a patient journey map for a National Institute of Drug Abuse competition, awarded $30,000 and publication.
