Amazon UX Design Return Internship

Integrated generative AI into Amazon Seller Central’s Associate support product, used by 10,000 Support Associates to cater to 2 million Amazon Sellers, through designing a new LLM-powered case summary feature to reduce handle time and improve accuracy metrics, launching January 2024.

Amazon UX Design Internship

Designed and researched search and filtering capabilities for a new implementation of the support case management system for Seller Central, used by 2 million active sellers on Amazon.com.

MOBILE UX DESIGN & HUMAN-CENTERED DESIGN

Wave: Youth Community Networking App

Partnered with the National YMCA, designed a mobile app platform facilitating connections between youth and their peers, allowing them to launch or join projects of their interests by forming partnerships with local organizations and mentors.

UX DESIGN, DATA VISUALIZATION, FRONT-END PROGRAMMING

Biomotivate Internship

Designed staff dashboards and user interfaces and programmed data visualizations for staff at Opioid addiction treatment centers using patient biometric data to better treat patients. Researched S.U.D to develop a patient journey map for a National Institute of Drug Abuse competition, awarded $30,000 and publication.

MediaScience Internship

Designed mobile and pc dashboards, website assets, distributable infographics, icons, business cards, and more, based on analyzing 50+ case studies in neuromarketing research for clients including corporations such as Google, Hulu, and TikTok

PRINT, MOTION, WEB, VISUAL DESIGN

Tom Whalen: Design System

Exploring print, motion, graphic, and web design, I created a design system consisting of a sixteen-page booklet, display poster, vector animation, and mobile app experience based on the work and branding of the vector illustrator ⁠and personal “design hero” Tom Whalen.

PHYSICAL COMPUTING, PROGRAMMING, FABRICATION

Interactive Pittsburgh Monopoly

Translated a 2D version of Monopoly which requires multiple physical components into a unique immersive and portable experience. Our game reflects both digital and physical aspects including player money, dice, property, paying rent, jail, and more.

Created a capacitive touch sensor with RGB LEDs integrated with a laser-cut wooden board and 3D-printed game pieces, transmitting messages using 2 Arduino Megas, to a Python Application for gameplay and UI.

PROGRAMMING, MACHINE LEARNING, FRONT-END

Project Website

ML Pasta Drawing Game

Developed a web app with UI where a user can train a pasta identification model using hand-drawn pictures and test the model on new drawings. Used a convolutional neural network and created our project using Python, Keras (an API from Tensorflow) and Flask with front-end JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
